Safety officer — Hampshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Hampshire, England. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate On a typical shift you will record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. We offer £2,500 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends.
