Now hiring: mining dozer operator (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Franklin County, New York. On a typical shift you will cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank. You should have: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
