Gang bricklayer — Greene County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Greene County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks 2+ years on the tools preferred.
