Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Butler County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) You will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. Full-time, day shift. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
