Site safety steward — Jefferson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site safety steward in Jefferson County, New York. You will work at a manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action You should have: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills 6+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
