Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Your main tasks: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
