Join our team: track-type tractor operator (Mississippi)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Tishomingo County, Mississippi. The job is at an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving You should have: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes 2+ years on the tools preferred. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
