Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mosaic tiler in East Carroll Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a new-build housing development. Requirements: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience On a typical shift you will make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away.
