Now hiring: VMC operator (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in Cowley County, Kansas. You will work in a CNC machining unit. Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Day-to-day duties: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
