Turning centre operator • Linn County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Linn County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges 3+ years on the tools preferred.
