Pipe tig welder — Lake County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Lake County, Montana. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. You will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
