MIG/MAG welder — Banks County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Banks County, Georgia. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances The role involves set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
