Lift technician • Jersey County, Illinois

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift technician in Jersey County, Illinois. You will be based in a residential tower block. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate The role involves: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
