Trowel-trade bricklayer — Delaware County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Delaware County, Indiana. You will be based on a commercial construction site. The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Six days a week, one day off.
