Stitching operator wanted in Borough of Bury

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Borough of Bury, England. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus On the job you will handle: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around £2,050 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
