Great opportunity: gtaw welder (Indiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Randolph County, Indiana. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Day to day you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Share your details and we will call you back.
