We are recruiting: materials handling operator (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a materials handling operator in Fairfax County, Virginia. The job is at a container loading yard. Requirements: • Accurate, careful stock handling • Valid forklift / FLT licence for counterbalance and reach trucks • Able to read pick lists and operate an RF scanner The role involves: • Transport raw materials and finished goods between bays • Top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains • Sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris • Keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit • Shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
