PVC window fabricator • Jackson County, Alabama

Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Jackson County, Alabama. You will be based at a glazing and fabrication factory. The role involves: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash What we are looking for: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
