Immediate opening: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, England. You will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 2+ years on the tools preferred. £11 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
