Gas service engineer • Sir Powys, Wales

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Sir Powys, Wales. The role involves: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
