Immediate opening: we are hiring an insulation installer in Santa Cruz County, California. You will be based at an industrial plant. The role involves torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks. You should have: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Willing to travel between sites At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
