Day-to-day duties: • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper You should have: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
