Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Marion County, South Carolina. On a typical shift you will load and unload the deck oven with a peel; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. Ideal candidate: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • 2+ years' experience as a baker $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
