Great opportunity: we are hiring a sausage maker in Shenandoah County, Virginia. The job is at a halal meat counter. On a typical shift you will mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Six days a week, one day off.
