Join our team: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Cumbria, England. The job is at an accident repair centre. The role involves bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch. You should have: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods Rotating shifts.
