Lifting rigger wanted in Price County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Price County, Wisconsin. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Day-to-day duties: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
