Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality checker in Slough, England. The role involves: • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting Requirements: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing 2+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
