Vacancy available: MIG/MAG welder (Mississippi)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Your main tasks: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
