Garment machinist — Mille Lacs County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Mille Lacs County, Minnesota. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. On the job you will handle: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
