Urgent requirement: ladle pourer (South Dakota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Ziebach County, South Dakota. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Rotating shifts.
