Gtaw welder — Montgomery County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Montgomery County, Iowa. The role involves: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
