We are recruiting: reinforcement fitter (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Lynn County, Texas. You will be based on a busy residential building site. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing You will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
