Vacancy available: cnc lathe setter (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Jefferson County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Day to day you will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
