We are recruiting: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Jefferson County, Mississippi. You will work on the press shop floor. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses The role involves: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
