Brick mason • Copiah County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Copiah County, Mississippi. You will work on a new-build development. Your main tasks: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
