We are recruiting: concrete placer (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. You will be based on a building construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
