Gtaw welder — Eket

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. On a typical shift you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) 3+ years on the tools preferred.
