Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Iroquois County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy body shop. The role involves: • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio You should have: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand 2+ years on the tools preferred.
