Natural gas fitter wanted in Calhoun County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Calhoun County, Illinois. The job is in customers' homes and kitchens. You should have: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches On a typical shift you will locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift.
