Immediate opening: elevator repair technician (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Wapello County, Iowa. You will work on a high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways On the job you will handle: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
