Urgent requirement: steel fixer (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Boone County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
