Sheet metal welder wanted in Mayes County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Mayes County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection 1+ years on the tools preferred.
