Garment presser wanted in Alpine County

Join our team: we are hiring a garment presser in Alpine County, California. Your main tasks: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
