Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Belmont County, Ohio. You will work at a power plant. Day to day you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
