Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Lawrence County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Day to day you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance.
