Brick and block layer • Crenshaw County, Alabama

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Crenshaw County, Alabama. You will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience.
