Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Crawford County, Illinois. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day-to-day duties: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
