Urgent requirement: offshore rigger (Louisiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Washington Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites You will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
