Great opportunity: MIG welder (Rivers State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG welder in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni, Rivers State. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Day-to-day duties: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose ₦9,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
