Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in City of Poquoson, Virginia. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery The role involves: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Full-time with occasional weekends.
